Refund policy
As an independent publisher operating with limited print runs, we have a straightforward approach to returns and refunds to ensure we can continue producing a premium physical product.
1. Single Issues & Back Issues Because Piston & Pace is a consumable print publication, all sales of single issues and back issues are final. Once an order has been handed off to the carrier, we do not accept returns or offer refunds.
2. Damaged in Transit We ship every issue in heavy-duty rigid mailers to protect the 100lb uncoated stock. However, if the postal service manages to defeat our packaging and your copy arrives damaged, we will make it right. Simply email our support team at hello@pistonandpace.com with a clear photo of the damaged packaging and the damaged magazine within 7 days of delivery, and we will ship a replacement copy at no cost to you.
3. Annual Subscriptions You may cancel your annual subscription at any time to prevent future renewals. If you choose to cancel mid-year, we will fulfill the remaining issues you have already paid for, but we do not offer pro-rated cash refunds for unsent issues.
4. Local Delivery is only applicable in certain areas in the Houston, Texas area. Delivery will occur in each issue's respective shipping month listed above. Delivery can be expected Monday through Friday during regular business hours, 9 am through 5 pm Central Time. Delivery fee is nonrefundable and is not recommended for subscriptions. We will make one attempt to hand-deliver your order directly to the recipient whenever possible. If no one is available to accept delivery at the time of arrival, the package will be left in a secure location at the delivery address, and the delivery will be considered complete.
